Professional Development

For child care programs participating in YoungStar, professional development is provided through onsite technical consultation by a YoungStar Technical Consultant. This shared decision making process supports child care programs as they set professional development goals for program administration and staff. The Technical Consultant will provide mentorship as professional development goals are discussed and defined, and celebrate with the provider as goals are achieved. Technical Consultants offer a complete selection of professional development services and are the first level of support for child care providers.
