Drop Box: If you have items to submit to the Northeastern Regional Licensing Office, mail or email is preferred, but you may drop items off at the Drop Box inside the building, on the fourth floor. To get up to the fourth floor, enter at the front entrance of the building and check in with the security guard. Take the elevators to the fourth floor. In the lobby area where you get off the elevators, there is a large black box on the right-hand side of the wall by the glass doors. Look for the sign labeled DCF DROP BOX.

Drop Box: If you have items to submit to the Southern Regional Licensing Office, mail or email is preferred, but you may drop items off at the drop box available 24/7 located at 201 W. Washington St., Madison, the Tommy G. Thompson building. The large black mailbox is located near a service entrance on the side of the building facing Fairchild St. The box is labeled “Department of Children and Families” and “Southern Regional Office.” The drop box is generally checked twice a week, but please notify the southern regional office if you are dropping off something urgent.

Drop Box: The Bureau of Early Care Regulation Regional Office in Eau Claire relocated on June 20. Any materials/documents for the Eau Claire regional office may be mailed to the following temporary address: DCF, PO Box 106, Eau Claire, WI 54702. Mail must be addressed to the “Department of Children and Families” and not an individual’s name. Mail addressed to an individual’s name will be returned to sender. If you need to drop materials off at the Western Regional Office temporary location, please call 715-930-1110 to schedule an appointment.
