Foster Care in Milwaukee County Milwaukee County Child Protective Services (MCPS) In cases where children may not be safe with their family of origin and no extended family can care for the child, Children's Court may order the child to be placed in a foster home. Children's Wisconsin and SaintA partner with MCPS to recruit, train, and license foster families. Ongoing Case Managers assist the foster family in meeting the needs of the children and facilitate visits by parents when allowed.
