Early Childhood Inclusion - Home Page

For children with disabilities and other special needs, being educated with typically developing peers is key to their educational and life-long success. Child care providers who offer quality care in an inclusive environment create a solid foundation for the success of all children.

Wisconsin's Department of Children and Families wants all child care programs to feel confident in the quality of care they provide to children with disabilities and other special needs. We also want parents to know that YoungStar programs are capable and prepared to care for children of all abilities.

The YoungStar Inclusion web pages are designed to provide both providers and parents with valuable information, helpful tips and relevant resources around inclusion and caring for children with special needs.

We invite you to explore and learn!
