Only a Few Days Left to Complete March Child Care Counts Applications/Updates

Time is running out to apply/update your information for the March Child Care Counts program. The deadline is Sunday, March 31 at 11:59 p.m. You will be notified of your eligibility for funds for your March application by April 12, 2024, via a payment letter uploaded to the Child Care Provider Portal.

Update/Application Week Reminders

  • You must review, update, and resubmit your application every month. See the Child Care Counts Calendar for future Count and Update Weeks.
  • Be sure to carefully review the child and staff lists for attendance and payroll status during the Count Week and hit “submit” once you have completed your review/update.
  • If you do not wish to receive payments, you must withdraw your application during Update Week.
  • Review the Updating Your Child Care Counts Information During Update Week video to learn how to make application modifications during Update Week.

If you need assistance, email DCFDECECOVID19CCPayments@wisconsin.gov or call and speak with a Support Center Specialist at 608-535-3650. Please be sure to include your provider ID, location number, and details about your question when calling or emailing. Call center hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday.

Free Early Childhood Health Consultation (ECHC) Webinar April 4: Catching Up on Check-Ups

What actually happens at a well-child visit (or “checkup”)? It’s much more than height, weight, and immunizations, and there are national standards and guidance for what elements should be included.

Dr. Dipesh Navsaria (Pediatrician & ECHC Director) will walk us through what happens during a well-child visit and why they matter for early childhood. Time will be available following the presentation for live question and answer session.
