Area Administration (AA) DCF Area Administration works with local agencies that administer DCF programs to support the department’s vision that all Wisconsin children and youth are safe and loved members of thriving families and communities. Staff partner with county human services departments, child support agencies, W-2 agencies, Tribal Nations and other service providers working with child welfare, child care, child support, and W-2 programs. DCF Area Administration conducts program monitoring, provides technical assistance and oversees contracts with local agencies to support the delivery of DCF program services. Area Administration is responsible for ensuring compliance with program requirements, responding to program complaints and staffing the Civil Rights Compliance Unit. Regional teams are based out of five locations across the state: Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay, Rhinelander and Eau Claire.
