Overview of the Partner Training Team

The DFES Partner Training Team (PTT) serves as a vital link between policy development and program implementation. We are proud of our role in training thousands of Wisconsin human service, child support, and workforce development professionals to implement progressive programs that lead to improved outcomes for children, support higher levels of self-sufficiency for families and a better-prepared workforce for Wisconsin communities.

The Partner Training Team is administered by the Department of Children and Families/Division of Family and Economic Security.

Mission Statement

To develop and provide quality training programs and support in partnership with state, local, and community agencies to promote self-sufficiency and wellness in Wisconsin families.

Vision Statement

The DFES Partner Training Team will be a state leader and a national model for providing workforce development and human services training to professionals whose ultimate goal is to promote self-sufficiency and wellness in Wisconsin families. We will do this by meeting the diverse needs of all our customers and creating a working environment that promotes creativity, innovation, and continuous learning for all.

The DFES Partner Training Team believes that:

The DFES Partner Training Team is a partnership among state government, the university system, and a private vendor. The Partner Training Team currently contracts staff through: Dynamic Workforce Solutions and UW-Oshkosh Center for Community Development, Engagement, and Training (CCDET).
