In order to maximize CCC funding to providers, DCF is making a one-time payment tonight to currently eligible providers who received funding (or had funding reserved) for the August payment round.

Yesterday the Governor’s Office announced that they submitted a formal request to the Joint Committee on Finance to use remaining federal child care COVID relief funds to continue the Child Care Counts Program into State Fiscal Year 2024 (which runs from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024). We understand that there are a number of questions regarding this announcement and would like to offer some clarity.
