Stat. 48.65 (3) (a) requires a child care center that provides care and supervision for 9 or more children to pay a two-year fee of $30.25, plus a two-year fee of $16.94 per child, based on the licensed capacity. The 6-month probationary fee is the two-year fee divided by 4. At the time the initial license application is submitted, applicants must submit a non-refundable fee of $45.68. This fee is calculated from the [$30.25 base fee + (9 children x $16.94 per child)] divided by 4. This fee will then be deducted from the remaining probationary fee due once licensed capacity is determined at the initial licensing visit. Day Camps for Children Wis. Amending Your Licensed Capacity If you would like to amend your Group Child Care Center or Day Camp for Children license to increase your capacity, a fee of $16.94 per additional child is required. The capacity increase fee must be paid prior to issuance of the amended license. No refund will be issued when a license is amended to reduce capacity during the current period of licensure.
