The Department of Children and Families, in conjunction with the Department of Health Services, provides funds to tribes to operate Family Services Programs. The Family Services Program includes funds from several state and federal sources and are combined to provide tribes with flexible funding to meet the social service needs of tribal populations. Tribes submit an annual application and annual budget to DCF explaining how the Family Services Program funds will be used and how outcomes will be evaluated. Tribes submit an annual report to DCF describing progress on achieving the goals identified in their applications. For more resources and links, please visit the Family Services Resource page.
