Provider Portal Login

Instructions for Child Care Providers and Center Staff Only

Please follow the instructions below to obtain access to the Child Care Provider Portal (CCPP).

For Provider Locations that do not have a current user with Owner/Director role

  1. You must have a DWD/Wisconsin Login and password. If you have not yet created a DWD/Wisconsin Login, you will need to do so now. Log onto the DWD Management page to obtain a DWD/Wisconsin Login.
  2. After you have successfully created the DWD Login ID, access the Provider Portal login page to complete the New User Setup page. 
    Note: You will need a Provider/Location Number and Tax ID to complete this process.
  3. Select ‘Get Owner/Director Access’ and follow the steps provided in the CCPP Security Module User Guide (supplementary to the general CCPP User Guide) to request a PIN for Owner/Director access.

For access to a Provider Location (all roles except Owner/Director)

  1. You must have a DWD/Wisconsin Login and password. If you have not yet created a DWD/Wisconsin Login, you will need to do so now. Log onto the DWD Management page to obtain a DWD/Wisconsin Login.
  2. Contact your owner/director or administrator for a unique PIN, a 10-digit provider number, and a 3-digit location number for the facility.
  3. Once you have received a PIN from your owner/director or administrator, access the Provider Portal Login page to complete the New User Setup page. 
    Note: You will need a Provider/Location Number to complete this process.
  4. Select ‘Additional Users for a Facility’ and follow the steps also provided in the CCPP Security Module User Guide (supplementary to the general CCPP User Guide) to activate your user access to most non-confidential pages.
  5. If you need role access other than Basic, contact the owner/director or administrator for a different role.

Instructions for Tribal/County/State Staff

Please follow the instructions below to obtain access to the DCF Child Care Provider Portal (CCPP).

  1. If you already have a User ID for CSAW, WISCCRS or YS CMS, go to Step 2 below. If you do not have access to the above Child Care Systems, create an ID at DWD Management.
  2. Click on DWSW-13358 to access Child Care Web Applications Access Request form. Note: This form is not be used by child care providers/center staff.
  3. Complete this form accurately. Make sure that you read the directions carefully and supply all the required information.
  4. Your supervisor must sign the form.
  5. You will receive an email once your access has been granted.


Note: The information in the DCF Child Care Provider Portal is confidential, and everyone using this system must follow confidentiality guidelines. Please read the Wisconsin Statutes regarding disclosing information about child care subsidy recipients.

Below are confidentiality guidelines that all registered users must follow:

  1. Only staff with a User ID and security access to CCPP should be viewing information on CCPP. Each staff member authorized to use CCPP should have his/her own User ID.
  2. Registered users should not share a User ID/Password with anyone. Remember that you are responsible for keeping your User ID and Password secure.
