Directory Child Care Help Desk Contact for system-related issues: ChildCare@wisconsin.gov; 608.422.7200 DCF Area Administration Child Care Coordinator Your regional child care coordinator handles general and policy related questions BAACCPolicyHelpDesk@wisconsin.gov Bureau of Child Care Subsidy Administration (BCCSA) Suspected fraud regarding child care providers should be directed to: DCFMBChildCareFraud@wisconsin.gov or 877.302.3728. Client referrals should be investigated by the local agency. If the local agency is unable to investigate, they can send the fraud referral through the same method above. Agencies may submit technical assistance requests to the Bureau of Child Care Administration (BCCSA) by sending an email to the Child Care Help Desk mailbox: childcare@wisconsin.gov. YoungStar Send YoungStar contracts to your local YoungStar office. Send Wisconsin Shares Participation contracts to: youngstar@wisconsin.gov. Forms A document – paper or electronic – that contains information that is critical for accessing the provider/agency services and/or benefits; letters or notices that require a response from the customer; and documents that inform customers of free language assistance, are a necessary part of doing daily tasks. All department forms require a form number, which must be displayed on the form. Forms are defined as: Paper/printed Electronic Form-fill enabled Mainframe-generated forms and form letters Client server-generated forms and form letters that merge variable information onto a fixed form template or structure Internet application screens Internet/intranet forms Templates The DCF Forms Search Page contains the searchable list of forms used by programs and DCF staff. The available forms can be searched via title, number, and language or by scrolling through the complete list. Forms are subject to change, so be sure to print only from the website so you always have the most up-to-date version. Court forms can be found on the Wisconsin Court System web page. Document Sales Some forms and publications are preprinted and can be ordered (for free) from Document Sales. New Document Sales users will need to create a login and password in order to search for products, place and track orders. Reports Reports are generally custom developed to provide specific business needs. DCF uses a flexible reporting tool, the Business Objects Web Intelligence System (WebI), to maintain and keep secure confidential data. This tool is supported by the Business Intelligence Section. Child Care Certification DCF 202 establishes standards for the certification of persons who provide child care for 1 to 3 children under age 7 unrelated to the provider, or who are not otherwise required to be licensed as a child care center under s. 48.65, Stats. Wisconsin Shares / MyWIChildCare EBT Card Wisconsin Shares Child Care Subsidy Program The purpose of the Wisconsin Shares Child Care Subsidy Program is to assist low-income families with a portion of the cost of quality child care while the parent is involved in an approved activity that leads to work and self-sufficiency. The Wisconsin Shares Program is administered by DCF. Wisconsin Shares eligibility is determined by the Department of Health Services (DHS). To be eligible for Wisconsin Shares, families must have income below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Once eligible, families continue to receive subsidized child care until income exceeds 85% SMI. There are several steps involved in signing up for Wisconsin Shares Child Care Subsidy. MyWIChildCare EBT Card MyWIChildcare EBT Card - The child care subsidy electronic benefits transfer (EBT) card allows Wisconsin families to pay for quality child care services with approved Wisconsin Shares child care subsidy funds. For MyWIChildcare account or payment information, parents can contact the FIS customer service department by calling 1.877.201.7601 (6 a.m. - 6 p.m.), or by going online to ebtEDGE. YoungStar Youngstar is Wisconsin’s quality rating and improvement system that gives parents the tools and information they need to plan their child’s care.
