Foster parents who recruit individuals or families to become a licensed foster home are eligible for the department’s foster home recruitment incentive. Note, the recruited foster home must have an approved foster home license and be in their first licensing period (e.g., not previously licensed by another licensing agency or at a different point in time).
Licensing agencies can request this incentive on behalf of the foster parent recruiter by completing the web form below. These requests are reviewed by the department on a quarterly basis (March, June, September, and December). Once the department verifies licensure of the recruited foster home, an electronic $100 Visa giftcard will be emailed to the foster parent recruiter.
