Increase in FBI Fingerprint Background Check Fees

The cost of the FBI fingerprint check will increase by $3.00 on October 1, 2026. An individual will pay $40.75 via credit card or electronic check when scheduling their Fieldprint appointment online. The fee covers the cost of the Fieldprint fingerprint capture fee ($7.75) and the cost of the FBI and DOJ fingerprint-based background check ($33). Fingerprint-based background checks must be completed using the Fieldprint Wisconsin website.
