Organize your records now so you are ready for the next Child Care Counts update/application week. You must review and update your application every month. If you need assistance, please email DCFDECECOVID19CCPayments@wisconsin.gov or call and speak with a Support Center Specialist at 608-535-3650, M-F 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Well Compensation Grant Program The Department of Natural Resources American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) well compensation grant program provides funding to eligible landowners, renters, or Wisconsin business owners to replace, reconstruct, or treat contaminated private water supplies that serve a residence or non-community public water system wells. A non-community public water system is a water system served by one or more wells that regularly serves water to at least 25 of the same people for over 6 months per year or serves a transient population of at least 25 people for 60 days of the year. This may include child care programs. Grant Program Eligibility In order to be eligible for the grant program, family or business income for the previous year may not exceed $100,000. Reminder: DCF is Hiring for Two Positions The Division of Early Care and Education (DECE) is currently recruiting to fill two positions: The Bureau of Child Care Subsidy Administration (BCCSA) is recruiting for a Program and Policy Analyst Advanced. This position is responsible for the policy development, implementation of new and ongoing initiatives, problem solving, and providing guidance to local agency staff through the Child Care Subsidy and Technical Assistance Line and email. This position is also responsible for monitoring the administration and evaluation of the Wisconsin Shares Child Care Subsidy program. The deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. on May 11, 2025. The Child Care Modernization Lead will work on key DECE programs, projects, and automation effort for initiatives such as Child Care Counts and Wisconsin Shares modernization.
