Domestic Violence Education - Milwaukee Program

The Division of Milwaukee Child Protective Services (DMCPS) within the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families (DCF) is soliciting applications for the Domestic Violence Education - Milwaukee Program to provide outreach and group education as well referrals to therapy and other needed services for families experiencing domestic violence in Milwaukee County.

The State as represented by DCF intends to use the results of this Request for Grant Proposal (RFP) to make multiple contract awards with at least one award allocated for services to perpetrators of domestic violence.

Out of Home Care Provider Registration and Contracts

Child Welfare Rapid Response - Milwaukee Program 

The Department of Children and Families (DCF) has issued a request for proposal (RFP) for a new Child Welfare Rapid Response program for the Milwaukee County child welfare system.

The purpose of this program is to provide short-term crisis intervention and stabilization services for children involved in Division of Milwaukee Child Protective Services (DMCPS) programming who are experiencing a mental health or other behavioral crises. These voluntary services shall consist of a responsive intake process inclusive of prioritizing cases, crisis management services, clinical services, and communication/collaboration with the DMCPS contracted case manager/initial assessment specialist assigned to the case. The contractor will be expected to be able to support the youth in crisis as well as the caregiver in de-escalating the youth’s crisis, supporting the caregivers as needed, and providing follow up supportive services to reduce additional crises.
