The Division of Milwaukee Child Protective Services is fortunate to contract with many community organizations who provide quality programming for children and families. These competitive contracts and grants are awarded through a Request for Proposal (RFP).

All active DMCPS Request for Proposals are listed below. If you have not yet registered to become a bidder for the State of Wisconsin's contracts and grants, please visit eSupplier and complete the online registration form. Responses to RFPs are strongly encouraged to be submitted through eSupplier. You will also find additional funding opportunities for other state agencies.

Open DMCPS Request For Proposals

Stronger Families Milwaukee

The Division of Milwaukee Child Protective Services (DMCPS) within the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families (DCF) is soliciting applications for a new child abuse and neglect prevention program called Stronger Families Milwaukee. DMCPS administers child welfare services in Milwaukee County and works to assure the safety, well-being, and permanence of children.

Stronger Families Milwaukee Program will work with families who are referred to DMCPS but are not receiving court-ordered child welfare services or voluntary services to manage child safety in their homes. Proposers should understand the complexities of the stressors in family’s lives contributing to the risk of child abuse and neglect which could lead to CPS intervention. Apply here.

An optional virtual proposer conference will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. CST.  There is no in person option available.  All proposers who intend to respond to this RFP are encouraged attend the proposer conference.  No formal minutes will be recorded during this proposer conference.  Any changes to the RFP resulting from this conference and all questions with the answers from the conference will be posted on Wisconsin eSupplier Portal.

  • Eligible Applicants: This application is open to non-profit and for-profit entities. DMCPS contracted Case Management Services agencies are not eligible.
  • Issue Date: September 29, 2021 (CST)
