Child Welfare CQI Reports In 2014 DCF remodeled its Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) system. The CQI process identifies areas of strength and areas needing improvement using many sources of data, including, but not limited to case record reviews. After the completion of the initial round of case reviews in the areas of Access, Initial Assessment, and Ongoing Services, reports were published that provide information on the entire process, including the background, methodology, training and quality assurance of the reviewers, key findings, and next steps. Since the publication of the initial reports, DCF developed an Access dashboard, and will create more dashboards in the future. Child Welfare CQI Case Records Reports & Dashboards Access Case Record Reviews This is the first continuous quality improvement (CQI) report on the Wisconsin’s Child Welfare Access case review process. The Executive Summary offers overall key findings and recommendations of the Access Case Reviews and discusses the procedural lessons that were learned. The 2015 Access Case Record Review Report is an in-depth report that outlines the information included in the Access Case Reviews. The 2015 Access Case Record Review Appendices includes additional information that supplements the 2015 Access Case Record Review Report, including a copy of the Access Case Record Review Instrument. Access Case Record Reviews - Dashboards & Additional Analysis The Access Case Review Dashboard provides the results of the Access Case Review (2015-2018) Comprehensive Analysis utilizing and interactive map, charts and graphs. The 2015-18 Screening Decision Summary is a brief overview of the Access Case Review (2015-2018) Comprehensive Analysis specific to screening decisions at Access. The 2015-18 Response Time Summary is a brief overview of the Access Case Review (2015-2018) Comprehensive Analysis specific to response times at Access. The 2015-18 Present Danger and Possible Likely Impending Danger Summary is a brief overview of the Access Case Review (2015-2018) Comprehensive Analysis specific to the identification of possible/likely Impending Danger at Access. The Summary of Access Cases Record Review Results (2015-2018) includes a summary of information learned from Access Case Record Reviews. The purpose of this document is to use it with child welfare workers. The 2015-16 Ongoing Case Record Review is an in-depth report that outlines the information included in the Ongoing Case Record Reviews. 2015-16 Summary of Results Relating to WICWA This Report provides a summary of results related to Access, Initial Assessment, and Ongoing Services Case Record Reviews completed during the years 2015 and 2016 that pertain to Indian Children and practices required under the Wisconsin Indian Child Welfare Act (WICWA).
