January 27 Child Care Provider Updates During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Children and Families (DCF) Division of Early Care and Education (DECE) will send updates to everyone who has subscribed to the DCF Child Care listserv. Child Care Immunization Assessments According to Wisconsin state law, licensed child care centers are required to maintain immunization records for the children ages 2-4 years in their care and report this information annually to the Department of Health Services (DHS) via the Child Care Immunization Assessment. DHS sent a letter on January 24, 2022 to licensed child care centers with information to help you prepare your records for the spring 2022 assessment. If your center cares for children ages 2 – 4 years, please watch your mailbox and email inboxes for this letter. You may also review our frequently asked questions for more information. Thank you for your cooperation and partnership! If you have any questions, please email Laura Gregor.
