WEBi Resources

WEBi is a web-based report tool that uses folders to organize and save reports. The Bureau of Analytics and Research (BAR) maintains the Child Support and Employment Programs folders. WEBi Access Form

The WEBi access form for county agencies can be found on the DCF Forms Search page.

DCF Staff should use the e-form, Business Objects WEBi Intelligence Access Internal DCF Request form found on dcfweb.

Access

The DCF Service Desk sends an email with the username, login portal information, and password information.

  • CSA staff set the Authentication menu to Enterprise.
  • DCF staff set the Authentication menu to Windows AD.

Navigating to Reports

The Bureau of Child Support has a series of folders in WEBi for storage of published reports.

WEBi location: Click the Folders tile and proceed through this path Public Folders/DCF/Child Support DW. Once in the Child Support DW folder you will see AGCY, Audits, and State based on your access permissions. Once the report is opened, you will see that the first tab of each report is a cover page, to share information about the report and its use.

The Child Support Partner Resource (CSPR) SharePoint site has a catalog of reports and data dictionaries. The catalog contains links to the WEBi reports.

Running a Report

Depending on the setup of the report you may receive a Prompt Window. This allows you to select criteria before running the report. Some criteria includes report timeframes and county/agency served. 

  • If you need to change the criteria or the options do not load properly, click the refresh button in the upper right corner.

Scheduled Reports

  • When the folder is opened and the list of report names display, in the Title column you may see “* scheduled.” This naming scheme indicates that the report is scheduled. 
  • To view the report, right click the name of the report and choose “View Latest Instance.”

Export Reports

It is common for reports to be exported for ease of consumption. 

  • Once the report is open, click the ellipsis is upper left menu.

  • Select either from Export and/or BI Inbox. Export allows you to use the report in Excel, PDF,  HTML, TXT, or CSV. If exporting to CSV or Excel, the default is set to Reports. 
    • Select All or the appropriate report tab to export. 
    • BI Inbox allows you to send the report to another user’s WEBi Inbox. This is the ideal way to securely share reports. To locate a User’s BI Inbox, update the dropdown box under Select Users/Groups to Find Full Name. In the “Search” text box, input the user’s name (all or part name) you are wanting to send the report to.

Once in the Employment Programs folder you will see Elevate, Emergency Assistance, Job Access Loans, Refugee Programs, Resources, TMJ/TJ, W-2 Case Management, W-2 Federal Reporting, W-2 Financial Data, and W-2 Monitoring based on your access permissions.

Report Documentation

Report Documentation is saved in a folder with the report. The Report Documentation shares information about the report, including how to use the report and data dictionaries. Reports are being updates to include a Cover Page that will eventually replace the Report Documentation.

The WISDOM Employment Programs Report Catalogue provides a list of current reports available to authorized WEBi users.
