Accessing the RMTS System / Creating a WIEXT ID The Random Moment Time Study (RMTS) ePolling system is used to create and update staff rosters and collect employee work activity for county and participating child placing agencies. All employees, supervisors and liaisons included in the roster must have a WiEXT ID to access the RMTS ePolling system. Existing agency liaisons access the system by going to the RMTS ePolling System and entering their WIEXT ID and password. New agencies must first add liaisons to the staff roster before accessing the ePolling system. To add liaisons to the roster send an email to the DCF RMTS Administrator with the following information: Name of the child placing agency Liaison name: individual responsible for ensuring the RMTS roster is accurate Liaison phone number Liaison email address Creating a New WIEXT ID Employees, supervisors and liaisons included on the staff roster must have a WIEXT ID associated with their current work email to access the system and submit work activity if sampled. If an employee does not have a WIEXT ID associated with their current work email, the following information will be needed to create the ID. Once the WIEXT ID is created, the employee must notify the agency liaison, who will then add them to the staff roster. To create a new WIEXT ID: Go to the DWD Create Logon website Enter first name and last name Email - must be the employees’ current work email Confirm email – must be the employees' current work email and match the 'Email' field entry Mobile Phone – enter employees' current work phone number Confirm Mobile Phone – confirm employees' current work phone number entered in 'Mobile Phone' field Username – create a user name you can easily remember, many use the conventional FirstnameLastName. User names must be 5-20 characters and may not contain any special characters Password – Must be 7-20 characters, have letters and either numbers or special characters, is case sensitive, and may not contain the users' name Confirm Password - must match 'Password' field Question / Answer Select the box to accept the terms and conditions Select the box confirming you’re not a robot Note: For RMTS purposes the email addresses in eWiSACWIS, RMTS and DWD must match. This ensures staff can reset or recover user names or passwords using the DWD password recovery site. This also guarantees that staff who are enrolled in WiLearn are properly excluded from sampling while they are attending the training academy and allows for the successful monthly export of RMTS staff into eWiSACWIS for county financial staff use. Updating an Existing WIEXT ID If an employee already has a WIEXT ID from a previous agency, one that is tied to a personal email, or there has been an email change due to a name change, or employer email extension update, the employee must update their DWD profile or create a new WIEXT ID (see Creating a new WIEXT ID). Once the WIEXT ID is updated, the employee must send the WIEXT ID to the agency liaison who will add them to the staff roster. To update an existing WIEXT ID: Go to the DWD Create Logon website Enter username and password Select ‘Edit Your Profile’ Enter password Enter the desired changes Select ‘submit changes’ Note: For RMTS purposes the email addresses in eWiSACWIS, RMTS and DWD must match. This ensures staff can reset or recover user names or passwords using the DWD password recovery site.
