Foster Parent Liability Insurance Information

Foster Parents:

All claims must come directly from the caseworker or foster care coordinator. Please refer to your caseworker or foster care coordinator when submitting a claim to the Foster Parent Liability Insurance Program.

This program ensures foster parents are reimbursed for damage or loss of property, not covered by their private insurance policy, caused by children placed in their care. The compensation applies to both accidental and intentional damage. The following are informational documents and forms needed to submit a foster parent insurance claim.
