Borrow directly or through interlibrary loan Borrow directly from CCIC if you want to: Have items delivered to your home or workplace Stop by the Post Office and pay for return mailing at the end of the loan period Book items for use on certain dates Have items sent in batches over a period of time Have CCIC keep a record of what you borrow Or use your local library's interlibrary loan service to borrow if you want to: Pick up items at your local library and return them there Save the cost of mailing the item back to CCIC Borrow items as they are available rather than for certain dates Borrow only one or two items Keep track of your loans yourself To use interlibrary loan: Check first to see if your local school or public library owns the item. Give library staff as much information as possible and ask if they will borrow the item for you on interlibrary loan. Go to your local library to pick up and return the item. Remember to return direct loans to CCIC, not your local library. Questions? Contact CCIC!
