Installing VDI on your iOS Device

These are steps to download and install the Omnissa Horizon Client on your iOS device to connect to your DCF VDI.
Omnissa Horizon Installation

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Search for Omnissa Horizon Client.
  3. Select Get.

  4. Wait for installation to complete.

  5. Open the Omnissa Horizon Client

  6. You will receive a pop-up message:
    “Horizon” would like to send you notifications Select if you would like notifications.
  7. Under Server Address type in: dcfvdi.wisconsin.gov

  8. Select Connect.
  9. A web browser window will open, presenting an Entra login page. Enter your DCF email address and tap Next.

  10. Enter your password and tap Sign In.

  11. Verify login with your Microsoft Authenticator App You will see an Approve sign in request screen.

  12. On your mobile device, you will be presented a notification from Microsoft Authenticator. Open it.
    1. If you did not receive a notification, open the Microsoft Authenticator app manually.
  13. On the “Are you trying to sign in? screen, enter the number you were presented earlier on iPad, and tap Yes.

  14. At the Stay Signed In prompt, tap No.

  15. Enter our ACCOUNTS username and password and tap Login.

  16. At the Open this page in “Horizon”, tap Open.

  17. The Horizon Client will open. Double tap the tile for your VDI to launch it.

  18. Tap Login.
