Random Moment Time Study (RMTS) Roles and Responsibilities There are three roles within the RMTS system: Liaison, supervisor, and employee. Expand the content below to learn more about each role and its responsibilities. Liaison Role Liaisons are responsible for the monthly staff roster certification, additions/deletions to the staff roster, and modifications to supervisor and employee profiles. Monthly staff roster certification – Liaisons for counties and participating placing agencies are required to certify their roster to ensure proper sampling. Email reminders will be sent to update the staff roster. The first reminder is sent on the first business day of the month. Staff roster is certified by selecting the roster certification button. If staff rosters are not certified by the 8th business day of the month, a second reminder email requesting certification is sent. Staff rosters must be updated before they are certified Remove employees who left the agency or who no longer meet the criteria for inclusion Ensure information for current staff is accurate (phone numbers, email, etc.) Add new hires (including WiLearn participants) and replacements Each agency is required to designate an RMTS Liaison. If the designated RMTS Liaison leaves the agency, or moves to a different position, the agency must inform the DCF RMTS Administrator of who will be fulfilling this responsibility. Supervisor Role Supervisors can log into the RMTS ePolling system to record on behalf of staff who were either not working at the sampled date/time (e.g. vacation, sick time, FMLA, comp/flex, etc.) or who were in training (not a trainer) and are unable to record activity prior to the expiration of the sample. Supervisors are: Not allowed to record any work-related activity, or lunch/break periods for staff Able to update RMTS employee records (email, work schedule, assigned supervisor, etc.) Not able to delete employees or supervisors from a roster Employee Role Employees are responsible for logging into the RMTS ePolling system when they are sampled to record activity at a specific time throughout the quarter. Employees can log in and record activity within 48 hours/2 business days from the sampled date/time Employees are not sampled during the month they were added to the roster Employees enrolled in WiLearn will not be sampled until they've completed the training program
