53206 T.E.A.C.H. and REWARD Program-Plus Looking for ways to further your education for free?Do you live or work on the 53206 zip code?Here's your opportunity! In partnership with the Department of Children and Families (DCF), the Wisconsin Early Childhood Association (WECA) is providing funding through T.E.A.C.H. scholarships and REWARD stipends for child care providers and programs specifically in the 53206 zip code area. WECA is seeking to create a cohort of up to 30 infant and toddler providers who work in a group or family child care in the 53206 neighborhood. There are no costs associated with this project to the participants or child care programs. The cohort takes place February - May 2020. Participants Receive Full tuition paid for two MATC courses: GENST-799 (General Academic Support) and CHILD-151 (ECE: Infant Toddler Development) $350 in enrollment and course completion bonus $350 in work/life balance stipend Free laptop and computer literacy support Meals provided during class time Up to 30 hours of paid release time from your center/program Free organization memberships to NAEYC/WECA, Wisconsin Shared Education Resources (WISER), and The Registry Individual counselor to support, coach, and guide participant to enhance success and continuing learning beyond the grant Additional stipends following the completion of the program through the REWARD program. Programs Receive $500 stipend for each program that enrolls/supports employee participation in the project $375 of reimbursement for each participant's release time Coaching and mentoring for participants in their classroom on developmentally appropriate practices Program support through The Registry and Wisconsin Early Education Shared Services Network (WEESSN) Free WISER Membership Have Questions?
