Report on Children with Disabilities Served in the Child Welfare System
(December 2016)This report provides the Department’s plan to strengthen child welfare services for children with disabilities, as required by 2015 Wisconsin Act 365. The report was developed through a workgroup established by DCF composed of a broad range of stakeholders.

Citizen Review Panel Reports and Responses
States are required to have Citizen Review Panels under the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA). The panels are made up of volunteer citizens and professionals working together to improve child protection at the state and local levels. Their goal is to improve child welfare outcomes for children and families .
Citizen review panels are required to submit an annual report to the Department of Children & Families (DCF) that includes recommendations about state and local child welfare services. DCF must respond to those recommendations within six months of receiving the report.

TPR Timeliness Report (2023)
This report provides the TPR Timeliness Workgroup's assessment, analysis, and recommendations of county, court, and legal partners' practice regarding the termination of parental rights process for balance of state counties and Milwaukee County. The TPR Timeliness Workgroup was composed of staff from DCF, CCIP, and IRP.

Public Disclosure of Child Protective Services (CPS) Critical Incident Reports
The public notification and follow-up CPS system review(s) in cases of child death, serious injury, and egregious or critical incidents due to maltreatment or suspected maltreatment.
Public Disclosure of Alleged Sexual Abuse of Children in Out-of-Home Care Placement
This series of reports provides information about alleged sexual abuse of children while they are in an out-of-home care placement. Each quarterly and annual report has a statewide summary along with a table of information by county.

Presents statewide and county summary data about children who return to an OHC placement within 12 months. These children had left OHC to live in a permanent family setting.
