How to Update your Horizon Client This document describes how to update your personal computer from an older version of the VMWare Horizon Client to the current version of the Omnissa Horizon Client. Identifying your Horizon Client version To determine if you need to update to a newer version of the Horizon Client, follow these steps corresponding to your type of computer. Windows computers Locate your Horizon Client If your Horizon Client icon looks like the following, you have an out-of-date version. Proceed to the Updating your Horizon Client section below. If your Horizon Client icon looks like the following, your version may or may not be out-of-date. Proceed to the next step. Open your Horizon Client Click the “…” menu in the upper right of your Horizon Client Choose “About Omnissa Horizon Client”. You will see a screen like this: If your version is out-of-date, proceed to the Updating your Horizon Client section below. Apple computers Locate your Horizon Client If your Horizon Client icon looks like the following, you have an out-of-date version. Proceed to the Updating your Horizon Client section below. If your Horizon Client icon looks like the following, your version may or may not be out-of-date. Proceed to the next step. Open your Horizon Client From your menu bar, select the “Omnissa Horizon Client” menu. It is the menu next to the Apple Menu. Choose “About Omnissa Horizon Client”.
