Governor Evers’ ECE Proposal for 2025-27 Biennial Budget Last week, Governor Evers released his proposal for the 2025-27 Biennial Budget. DCF has created a brief document summarizing the early care and education-related investments that the Governor is proposing. You can access the document on the DCF website. Get Ready for the February Child Care Counts Update Period The next update/application period starts soon – March 1-9. Organize your records now so you are ready for the update/application week. You must review and update your application every month. You risk overpayment if you don’t properly update your application. See the Child Care Counts webpage for future Count and Update Weeks.
