Work Programs page The “Work Programs” page of the informal assessment captures participation in work programs other than W-2, TMJ, TJ, and CF. Examples include DVR, Fatherhood Program, FSET, Refugee Program, Unemployment Insurance, Veterans Services, and WIOA. Below, you can find information on the following topics related to the “Work Programs” page: Case Management Benefits and Resources If the participant has been involved with other work programs in the past, is currently participating in another work program, or is waitlisted, you will be required to record details about each program. Collecting this information can be useful for case management in the following ways: Past participation in other work programs may have helped the participant develop skills or gain experience that they can build on now. Current participation in other work programs is an opportunity for collaboration with other case managers. You can help the participant prepare for future participation in another work program by incorporating it in current employability planning. Additional resources that may be helpful: FoodShare Employment and Training (FSET) Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) DCF Fatherhood Programs Unemployment Insurance DCF Refugee Services Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs Data Displayed and Collected For some participants, you may see some read-only data from CWW to help you answer the questions in this section more easily. If participant has been enrolled in FoodShare Employment and Training (FSET), the following data will be displayed: FSET Enrollment Status FSET Enrollment Date FSET Disenrollment Date FSET Disenrollment Reason Like most pages in WWP, the “Work Programs” page is dynamic. If you indicate that the participant has no past, present or future involvement with any other work programs, you not be required to answer any additional question. If you indicate that the participant has been involved in other work programs, you will have the ability to capture additional information for each work program. Below are some tips for collecting data on other work programs. If you select “Other” for the program “Name”, record the name of the program in the “Details”. The “Start” and “End” fields allow you to record the month and year that the participant’s involvement with a program began and ended. These fields may be required or optional, depending on what you selected for “Status”. If you are unsure of the exact month and year for “Start” and/or “End” when the field is required, enter your best approximation best on the information the participant can provide. The “Location” field uses Google to provide suggestions as you are typing the city and state where the work program was located. You will be required to select one of the auto-complete suggestions. Adding a Contact If you will need to collaborate with a case manager from another work program, you can record their contact information using the "Contacts app", shown below: You will most likely want to select “Other” for the “Contact Title”, then add a title specific to the other program the participant is involved in. For more information on how to manage contacts, see "Manage contact(s) associated with a page". Adding or Deleting a Work Program To add an additional work program, click the “Add Item” button, as shown below: To delete a work program, click the trash can icon: Notes At the bottom of each page of the informal assessment, there is a “Notes” field. This is where you can record any additional information about “Work Programs” that you feel will be relevant for case management, including information that doesn’t directly relate to any of the questions asked earlier on the page. General information about the participant or family should still be captured using “PIN comments” or “Case Comments”. Each time you visit the “Work Programs” page, you will see whatever information was entered in the “Notes” field the last time the page was saved. If you see information that is no longer relevant, you can delete it or – if needed – replace it with new information. Previously saved “Notes” will still be accessible through the history for the "Work Programs" page. If the information you see is still relevant, you can leave the existing text in the “Notes” field and – if needed – add additional information. To get a sense of when “Notes” were originally entered and updated, you can access history for the "Work Programs" page via the "Informal Assessment Summary". Help for Individuals with Read-only Access If you have read-only access to WWP, you will able to see the response selected for each question on the "Informal Assessment Summary". However, in cases where the question included a list of options, it may be helpful to see the full list of choices. Below is a list of questions like this on the “Work Programs” page, including all the potential responses: Status Past Current Waitlist Name DVR Fatherhood Program FSET Refugee Program Unemployment Insurance Veterans Services WIOA Adult WIOA Youth WIOA Dislocated Worker Other See also: Wisconsin Work Programs (WWP) - Help Center - Home Informal Assessment - Summary Case Management Contacts Participant Summary
