Migrant Child Care

Overview:

The Department of Children and Families (DCF) intends to contract for the Migrant Child Care (MCC) services to be provided to Migrant families temporarily residing in Wisconsin to participate in seasonal employment. DCF aims to ensure that quality child care is available to children of migrant farmworker families during Wisconsin’s migrant season. The target population is migrant families with children under age 13 (which includes 12 years, 11 months), and under age 19 for children with a verified disability. Child care is defined as regulated child care provided by either the awarded contractor or a third party regulated child care provider participating in the YoungStar program with a rating of 2 or higher.
