Our Accessibility Commitment

The Wisconsin Department of Children and Families (DCF) is committed to making our websites and web applications accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. This is accomplished by:

  • Meeting Standards: Complying with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act.
  • Ongoing Improvement: Regularly testing and updating our website for accessibility and functionality.
  • Accessible Features: Providing tools like keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and enhanced contrast options to support user needs.

Accessibility is a Journey

While our website is accessible, we realize there’s still more to do. DCF is in the process of remediating electronic documents, starting with those that are currently used to apply, access, or participate in our programs and services.
