Adoptive Parent Awards Nominations Now Open!

The Department of Children and Families is now accepting nominations for the 2023 Governor’s Outstanding Adoptive Parent Awards to recognize adoptive families for all of the ways they support children and families in Wisconsin.

We're seeking nominations for adoptive families who help children stay connected to their birth families, engage in shared parenting, support sibling groups or have gone above and beyond in some other way. Anyone can nominate an adoptive family for this award—including agency staff, parents, support systems, school staff, peers, advocates and others—so please share this widely with your networks! 

Nominations are due by Sunday, October 1, and can be submitted using this form. Any questions can be sent to DCFMBCommunications@wisconsin.gov or Jonathan Wilcoxen.
