What is the Services to Older Refugees program?

The Services to Older Refugees program helps the elderly in Milwaukee area who are in need of additional services. Those who qualify are:

  • Age 60 or older;
  • Admitted to the United States under an eligible status; and
  • Have not yet obtained citizenship.

What services are provided through the Services to Older Refugees program?

The Services to Older Refugees program provides individual and group activities to help elderly refugees:

  • Improve their social life;
  • Connect to health care resources;
  • Become a part of their community; and
  • Prepare for citizenship.
