Management of Statewide Domestic Violence Prevention Program Initiative Overview: The Department of Children and Families (DCF), Division of Safety and Permanency (DSP), Bureau of Safety & Well-Being (BSWB), will be soliciting a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Management of Statewide Domestic Violence Prevention Program Initiative. The DV Prevention Program contract will award a single contract including multiple components; statewide media campaign, funding for local organizations to engage in primary prevention activities, and efforts to support the involvement of youth voice and leadership in developing prevention efforts, prevent dating violence, and promote healthy relationships through capacity building for local victim service providers, schools, and other youth organizations, and prevention efforts for adults. Proposal may be submitted by an organization as defined in Wisconsin Statute Section 49.165(1) (d): a nonprofit corporation, public agency, or federally recognized Indian tribe or band that provides or proposes to provide any of the following domestic abuse services: (1) shelter or private home care; (2) advocacy and counseling for victims; (3) 24-hour domestic violence hotline; or (4) community education.
