Wisconsin Shares: Providers are Required to Report if a Child Has Not Attended in the Past 30 Days

Providers must report if a child receiving Wisconsin Shares has not attended in the past 30 days. Reporting can be completed through the Child Care Provider Portal or by contacting your local agency. Providers are encouraged to review their monthly list of Wisconsin Shares authorizations on a regular basis to ensure the list is current and up to date. For questions about Wisconsin Shares policies, please contact your local agency.

November Child Care Counts Applications are being Reviewed

The latest payment program application period is closed. Applications for the November Child Care Counts: Stabilization Payment Program are being reviewed. Providers will be notified of their eligibility for funds by December 16, 2022, via a payment letter uploaded to the Child Care Provider Portal.

The next update/application period is December 19-23, 2022. See the Child Care Counts Calendar for future Count and Application Weeks.

Spending Deadline Reminder

All Stabilization Payment Program funds must be spent within 120 days from the date of the payment letter. See the Use of Funds section of the Frequently Asked Questions for more information.

  • July 2022 funds must be spent by December 17, 2022.
