Audit Reports

Submitting Audit Reports
The agency being audited or their auditor needs to send a copy of the audit report to all agencies that provided funding to the auditee. Check the contract or contact the funding agencies for information on where to send the audit report and whether the report is to be in paper or electronic format.
Audit reports shall be submitted electronically in pdf format to DCFAuditors@wisconsin.gov.
Audit reports in hard copy format can be sent to the following address:

Single Audit
Single Audit Reports should be submitted to the Federal Audit Clearinghouse.
Reviewing and Resolving Audit Reports
DCF regularly revises and updates its audit manuals, as such, the department recommends checking the guide to ensure that auditors are using a current guide for reviewing and resolving audits conducted in accordance with the Provider Agency Audit Guide (PAAG).
Audit Confirmation Requests
It is not necessary to mail confirmation requests to DCF for agencies that receive payments via the SPARC System. Contract and payment information is published on the department's SPARC website.
