Child Care Licensing Procedure Manual
A Family Child Care/Foster Care Stipulation establishes the conditions for granting or continuing a family child care license along with a foster home license, including requirements for written approval from the foster home licensing agency, number of children under 2 years of age in care, notification if a foster child exhibits concerning behaviors and notification of any exceptions granted by the foster home licensing agency. The licensing specialist should work cooperatively with the foster home licensor to assure that both licensing agencies communicate the same licensing terms and conditions to the licensee.
