Child Care Background Check Procedures
Rehabilitation review approval lifts the bar to regulatory approval, employment or household member residency. Any person who has received rehabilitation review approval can be considered eligible to be licensed, certified, or employed, or to reside as a household member in the specific program areas indicated for approval by the review panel. (See Module 7.)
A determination of substantial relationship cannot be used to deny or revoke the individual for the same offenses considered when the rehabilitation review approval was granted.
