11.3.1 Good Cause Overview

CSJCSJ and W-2 TW-2 T participants must participate in all assigned work training activities or education and training activities outlined in the EPEP.

When a participant is unable to attend an assigned activity, good cause can be used to excuse the absence and prevent a sanction for nonparticipation or noncooperation.

To be eligible for good cause for a missed assigned activity, the participant must notify and provide an explanation to their FEPFEP of the reason within seven working days following the absence.

The FEP must then use the good cause criteria (See 11.3.2) to determine whether a participant absence qualifies as good cause.
