Child Care Licensing Procedure Manual
The licensing specialist’s role is to ensure that the correction plan is developed and implemented as quickly as possible in order to insure that the facility is operating in compliance with administrative rules. The licensing specialist must review the correction plan upon receipt to determine whether the correction plan addresses each cited violation timely and whether the language contained in the correction plan is appropriate to upload to WISCCRS and to the public search website. The licensing specialist must also assure that the written plan does not contain confidential information. The licensing specialist does not provide further feedback to the licensee about the correction plan unless it is an unacceptable plan.
