Child Care Licensing Procedure Manual
Once the licensee has completed the probationary period and has met the minimum requirements for a regular, two-year non-expiring license, BECR collects licensing fees to cover the two-year licensing period. Likewise, at the time of continuation for a previously licensed facility, BECR collects licensing fees to cover the entire two-year licensing period, with exceptions noted below. BECR must also collect any outstanding fees and forfeitures before issuing the regular license.
For a family child care, the fee for a regular license is $60.50.
For a group child care or day camp, the fee for a regular license is $30.25, plus $16.94 per child based on licensed capacity.
