Child Care Licensing Procedure Manual
The BECR Office Manager, with the approval of the licensing manager/licensing supervisor, may determine that the fees for a regular, two-year non-expiring license should be prorated to accommodate the unique circumstance of the licensee. For example, fees may be prorated when a center relocates twice during a six-month period due to the sale of the center, necessitating a move to an alternate location, followed by a second move to the final location. A one-time six-month license may be issued when a center plans to relocate in less than six-months and would be changed the full two-year licensing fee again after the relocation.
