Child Care Licensing Procedure Manual
If there is a permanent change of location during the licensing period, the licensee must apply for a license for the new facility. The standard probationary licensing fee is charged for the new license at the new location. No credit will be given for the remainder of the licensing period at the original location.
Note: In the case of a change of location with an existing licensee, the licensing specialist has the discretion to direct the issuance of a regular license rather than probationary for the new location, with the approval of the licensing manager/licensing supervisor. This determination is based on monitoring and compliance experience and length of time the licensee held the previous license.
