2.8.1 When to Report Changes

To remain eligible for W-2, participants must notify the W-2W-2Wisconsin Works agency of a change in circumstance that may affect eligibility.

The following table outlines the required reporting timeframe based on the change in circumstance.

Change in Circumstance

Any change in circumstance that may impact eligibility, such as a change in Wisconsin residency, increased income or assets, etc. (See 2.2.1)

 10 Calendar DayAny day of the week, including weekends and holidays.s
The absence of a child. (See 2.8.2)

Five Working DayAny day of the week except Saturday, Sunday, and CARES holidays.s

The agency must respond to reports in a timely manner and keep case data up to date.
