1.5.1.1 Conducting W-2 Eligibility Reviews Virtually
1.5.1.2 Discussing Confidentiality Situations
The W-2 agency is required to meet with participants to conduct a W-2 eligibility review at least once every six months. (See 1.4.2.4)
Eligibility reviews must be conducted in person or virtually by phone or video call.
During a virtual W-2 eligibility review, the FEP must review the participant’s eligibility information and notify them of all verification items and required forms that must be submitted.
After conducting a virtual W-2 eligibility review, the FEP must:
· Summarize information from the interview;
· Collect the participant’s signature;
· Generate a current Case Summary; and
· Send the Case Summary and other required forms to the participant unless they prefer to pick them up at the W-2 agency.
The FEP must discuss the participant’s confidentiality situation at each eligibility review to address any safety concerns. Confidentiality situation refers to any situation that makes the participant’s case confidential. (See 4.5.2)
