3.8.2 - Reopening After Temporary Closure Due to Suspension

DCF 202.04(3)(c)5. A certification agency may enter into a temporary closure agreement with an operator that sets forth specific terms and conditions for the closure, not to exceed 365 days. An on-site monitoring visit must be conducted prior to reopening.

In order to activate an operator who has been temporarily closed, change the suspended category status back to ‘approved’. Also, notify the subsidy unit so they can delete the Suspend Authorizations status in CSAW. A Wisconsin Shares family may need to contact their subsidy agency to have authorizations reissued.

Note: See additional guidance in Module 7 – Monitoring section 24 regarding Temporary Closures not related to enforcements or noncompliance.
