WWP Help Center – Case Management – Test Scores app

The “Test Scores app” allows you to record test scores for the GED/HSED, TABE, TABE CLAS-E, and BEST. GED/HSED scores can be entered from the “Education History” page, but all other test scores must be entered into the “Test Scores app” directly.

Below you can find additional information on:

Accessing the Test Scores app

You can access the “Test Scores app” from the “Case Management” menu when a participant is selected, as shown below:

Adding Test Scores from the Test Scores app

If no tests have been added, when you access the “Test Scores app” for the first time, you will see the following screen:

Add Test button

Click the “Add Test” button shown below to add test scores.

When you click the “Add Test” button, you will see the following screen:

In the “Test Type” menu, you will see the following options:

  • BEST
  • GED/HSED
  • TABE 9 & 10
  • TABE CLAS-E

Select the test that you want to add a score for.

Depending on the “Test Type” you select, different fields will be displayed.

If you select “BEST”, you will be able to enter the fields shown below:

If you select “GED/HSED”, you will be able to enter the fields shown below:

If you select “TABE 9 & 10”, you will be able to enter the fields show below:

Regardless of what “Test Type” you select, you will be required to enter the date that the test was taken. You will not be able to save the test scores without selecting a “Test Type” and “Date Taken”. The “Save” button will be greyed out until these fields are completed.

The “Save” button will also be greyed out if you enter an invalid “Date Taken”. The “Date Taken” must be a real date entered in MM/DD/YYYY format. It cannot be a future date and must be after the participant’s date of birth. All test types include a space to enter “Details”, in case there is additional relevant information to enter besides the score.

None of the other fields besides “Test Type” and “Date Take” are required. This will allow you to enter the information you have about the participant’s test scores, even if it’s not 100% complete.

Viewing and editing existing test scores from the Test Scores app

You can view and edit any test scores that have already been added from the “Test Scores app”.

Existing scores are organized on three tabs:

  • GED/HSED
  • ABE/ASE
  • ESL/ELL

Tabs

  • The “GED/HSED” tab will be displayed if any “GED/HSED” tests have been added.
  • The “ABE/ASE” tab will be displayed if any “TABE 9 & 10” tests have been. “ABE” stands for “Adult Basic Education” and “ASE” stands for “Adult Secondary Education”.
  • The “ESL/ELL” tab will be displayed if any “BEST” or “TABE CLAS-E” tests have been added. “ESL” stand for “English as a Second Language” and “ELL” stands for “English Language Learners”.

Click on a tab to view tests of that type.

For example, if I select “ESL/ELL”, I might see that both “BEST” and “TABE CLAS-E” scores have been added:
