15.1.3 Informing Applicants about Assignment of Child Support Payments
The W-2W-2 agency is required to give all W-2 applicants the:
- Notice of Assignment Child Support, Family Support, Maintenance, and Medical Support (2477); and
- Child Support Cooperation and Good Cause Notice (5600-P).

The W-2 agency must help applicants who begin receiving both child support payments and W-2 services understand how child support payments are assigned.
The W-2 agency is required to give all applicants they refer to the CSA or applicants already receiving child support services the Your Guide to W-2 Services, Cash Benefits Programs, & Child Support (16232-P) brochure.
