7.2.5 Denying or Terminating an Unsubsidized Employment Case Management Placement
If an individual placed in a CMDCMD, CMUCMU, CMFCMF, CMF+CMF+, or CMJCMJ declines case management services or does not participate without good cause, the FEPFEP must:
- Terminate eligibility for the placement; and
- Document the refusal in PIN comments.
CWWCWW will issue a W-2W-2 denial notice.
There is no hourly payment reduction for noncooperation in CMD, CMU, CMF, CMF+, or CMJ placements. However, the FEP may close a CMD or CMJ placement if an individual:
- Does not cooperate with job search requirements;
- Misses an EPEP review appointment without good cause (see 11.5.1); or
- Loses contact with the FEP.
The FEP should close a CMF, CMF+, or CMU placement if:
- A participant fails to attend an EP or eligibility review appointment without good cause; or
- The FEP has made repeated and varied attempts but is unable to connect with a participant.
Eligibility reviews must be conducted at least once every six months to maintain nonfinancial eligibility.
