3.7.1 - When Certification Expires During Temporary Closed

When drafting the Temporary Closure Notice / Agreement it is recommended the length of time under which the operator may remain temporarily closed does not exceed the operator’s expiration / end date.

The certification agency typically sends certified operators recertification application materials 60-90 days in advance of the operator’s expiration date. If the operator submits an application for recertification, the certification worker may process the application in WISCCRS but will need to make a determination whether or not the applicant for recertification should be granted regulatory approval / recertification.

See Section 3.6 Suspension with a Pending Expiration Date for additional guidance.
